This is one of those exercises that’s totally open-ended. You can use ANY pattern or lick and come up with something that sounds totally different, simply by playing that pattern on a different grid. This works with anything! Given the infinite number of patterns available to us on the kit….well, you get the idea. It would take several lifetimes to explore all of the possibilities. Since we only get one, just do the best you can! 🙂
